What's New

New Headquarters Building Grand Opening
Unseasonably warm temperatures greeted more than 50 dignitaries and hundreds of Aerospace employees for the official Grand Opening celebration of the new A9 headquarters building Tuesday, April 21.

Distinguished guests from the Space and Missile Systems Center, the Aerospace board of trustees, elected officials, and Aerospace senior management joined the large celebration and tried to keep cool in the shade and surrounding areas of the A9 entrance.

Peter Teets New Chair of Board of Trustees
Peter B. Teets has been elected chairman of The Aerospace Corporation's board of trustees, the company has announced. He replaces Lt. Gen. Donald L. Cromer (USAF, Ret.), who is retiring from the board after six years of service. He chaired the board from 2006 through 2008.

Selected to serve as vice chair was Gen. Thomas S. Moorman Jr. (USAF, Ret.). Teets and Moorman were elected to three-year terms during the board's quarterly meeting held at the company's headquarters in El Segundo, Calif.
