Board of Trustees Elects Two New Vice Presidents

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (6/28/99) -- The Board of Trustees elected two new vice presidents, Steve Burrin and Dr. Larry Greenberg, at the board meeting June 10-11 at the company's headquarters in El Segundo, California.

Burrin was elected vice president of Space Program Operations, Space Systems Group, a position held by Dr. Joe Straus before he was named senior vice president for Space Systems Group.

Burrin leaves his post as general manager of the MILSATCOM (Military Satellite Communications) Division and will be replaced by Dr. Wanda Austin, general manager of the Electronic Systems Division, Engineering and Technology Group.

Greenberg will succeed Dr. Jim Gilchrist as vice president of Technology Operations, Engineering and Technology Group, when Gilchrist retires October 1 after 31 years with the company.

Greenberg is currently general manager of the Advanced Projects and Technology Division, Space Systems Group.
