Dr. Michael J. Daugherty Named Executive Vice President,
Marlene Dennis Named Vice President of Human Resources

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (7/1/98) -- Dr. Michael J. Daugherty has been named executive vice president of The Aerospace Corporation, effective July 1, 1998, it was announced by President and Chief Executive Officer E.C. "Pete" Aldridge, Jr. Daugherty replaces Dr. George A. Paulikas, who has retired after 37 years at Aerospace. In addition to serving as executive vice president, Daugherty will continue to serve as senior vice president of the Space Systems Group.

Aldridge also announced that Marlene Dennis has been promoted to vice president of the Office of Human Resources, moving up from general manager of the Human Resources Division.
