Patents Awarded to Four Employees

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (12/18/00) -- U.S. patents were issued Nov. 14 to four employees of The Aerospace Corporation for inventions developed at the company.

• Patent no. 6,148,022, "NRZ and Biphase-L Formatted Quadriphase Modulated GPS Transmission Method," was awarded to Dr. Srinivasa Raghavan and Dr. Jack Holmes of the Communication Systems Subdivision.
• Patent no. 6,148,040, "Precoded Gaussian Minimum Shift Keying Carrier Tracking Loop," was issued to Dr. Tien Nguyen and John Charroux of the Communication Systems Engineering Department.
