EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (5/1/00) -- Five U.S. patents were recently issued to 11 scientists and engineers for inventions developed at The Aerospace Corporation. The patents and inventors are as follows:

• Patent no. 5,999,127, "Satellite Communications Facilitated by Synchronized Nodal Regressions of Low Earth Orbits," issued to Richard Dezelan.

• Patent no. 6,028,897, "Error-Floor Mitigating Turbo Code Communication Method," issued to Dr. Charles C. Wang.

• Patent no. 6,036,422, "Roller Washer Bearing and Method," issued to Robert Postma, Dr. Robert Pan, Brian Hamada and Louis Herman.

• Patent no. 6,037,704, "Ultrasonic Power Communication System," issued to Dr. Richard Welle.

• Patent no. 6,041,077, "Frequency Translating Device Transmission Response Method," issued to Christopher Clark, Dr. Andrew Moulthrop, Michael Muha and Dr. Christopher Silva.
