Rami Razouk Named Senior VP;
Larry Greenberg Appointed
Vice President, Technology

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (6/9/05) -- Dr. William F. Ballhaus Jr., president and chief executive officer of The Aerospace Corporation, announced today that Dr. Rami R. Razouk has been promoted to senior vice president of the Engineering and Technology Group, effective July 1. He will replace John R. Parsons who is retiring from the company after 35 years of service.

Ballhaus also announced that Dr. Lawrence T. Greenberg will assume the newly created position of vice president, Technology, effective July 1.

“I am very pleased to announce the appointments of Rami and Larry to these key positions,” said Ballhaus. “The depth and breadth of their experience make them exceptionally well suited to provide our customers with the critical resources to support their mission and our national security space program.”

Razouk will be responsible for directing more than 1,000 engineers and scientists, about one half the company’s technical staff, in support of virtually all national-security space programs and other space programs in the national interest. Ballhaus said Razouk will focus on implementing an initiative he has spearheaded to enhance the flexibility and effectiveness of the company in providing services on demand to any customer at any location.

Razouk advances from associate general manager of the Space Support Division. He has been with the company since 1988 when he joined the technical staff specializing in computer system modeling and analysis. Before being named associate general manager of the Space Support Division, he was general manager of the Computer Systems Division. He was an assistant professor in the Information and Computer Science Department at the University of California at Irvine and an aerospace industry consultant before joining Aerospace.

Greenberg, currently vice president of Laboratory Operations, will be responsible for overseeing all corporate research and laboratory activities, including the management of Laboratory Operations. He also will oversee the company’s Technology Investment Program, focusing research and technology initiatives on areas at the forefront of customer requirements.

Greenberg has been vice president of Laboratory Operations, within the Engineering and Technology Group, since 1999. He joined the company in 1978 as a member of the technical staff in Laboratory Operations, then advanced to management positions within the labs and, later, in organizations involved in the architecture, planning, and development of advanced Air Force space technology programs and initiatives.

Parsons has been with Aerospace since 1969, initially serving as a member of the technical staff in the Optical Systems Department. He advanced to management positions within the department and, subsequently, in organizations involved in image, information, and sensor technology. He was named vice president of Space Program Operations in 1996, and senior vice president of the Engineering and Technology Group in 1997. He was senior vice president of Space Systems Group from June 2001 to December 2003 when he was reappointed to the position of senior vice president of Engineering and Technology Group.
