Center for Microtechnology Established
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (10/5/98) -- The Aerospace Corporation has established a Center for Microtechnology to provide management, coordination and oversight for the growing number of corporate microtechnology activities which have expanded significantly since 1990.
The center is being managed by Principal Director Seymour Feuerstein, Ph.D., the company's principal investigator of corporate research and strategic initiatives in microtechnology.
Feuerstein also will coordinate initiatives originating from The Aerospace Corporation's newly established microtechnology alliance with The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory.
Feuerstein will be joined by three members of the Aerospace technical staff who have been instrumental in the corporation's growth in microtechnology. They are Ernest Robinson, distinguished engineer, and Drs. Henry Helvajian and Siegfried Janson, senior scientists.
