New General Managers Named

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (10/18/99) -- Drs. William Hiatt and Sumner Matsunaga have been named general managers at The Aerospace Corporation.

Hiatt will manage the newly formed Reconnaissance Systems Division in Chantilly, Virginia, while Matsunaga will manage the Electronic Systems Division at the company's headquarters in El Segundo, California.

Hiatt has been with The Aerospace Corporation since 1979. His initial assignment was working as a member of the technical staff in the Modeling and Analysis Department, Information Processing Division.

Subsequent assignments included section manager, senior project engineer, systems director and principal director of the Northern Virginia Office.

Matsunaga came to the company in 1989 as a project engineer in Orbital Systems Operations. He was promoted to systems director, then principal director of the Technology Development and Applications organization in the National Systems Group.
