Doug Holker Named AFCEA Regional Vice President

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (9/8/98) -- Douglas L. "Doug" Holker of The Aerospace Corporation has been named regional vice president of the newly formed Western Region, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA). AFCEA is a 34,000-member international organization which includes producers and users of communications, electronics, intelligence and information systems worldwide.

Holker, who formerly was president of AFCEA's Los Angeles Chapter and is a member of the organization's international board of directors, assumed his new duties August 1. The Western Region includes the High Desert, Inland Empire, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Vandenberg (Air Force Base) chapters.

At The Aerospace Corporation, Holker manages projects on military applications of commercial satellite systems.
