Dr. David Gorney to Head Navigation Division,
Dr. Harlan Bittner Named Chief Architect/Engineer

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (11/11/02) -- The Aerospace Corporation has announced the promotions of Dr. David J. Gorney to general manager of the Navigation Division, newly created to focus solely on the Global Positioning System, and Dr. Harlan F. Bittner to corporate chief architect/engineer and general manager of the Office of the Chief Architect/Engineer. Bittner succeeds Gorney in the architect/engineer post and moves up from principal director of the Systems Acquisition Support Directorate in the Office of Chief Architect/Engineer.
