Architecture Framework Team Recognized by NRO

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (6/3/02) -- Employees of The Aerospace Corporation were among those recently recognized by the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) as recipients of the Director's Team Award, presented on behalf of NRO Director Peter Teets.

The employees were part of the NRO Architecture Framework Team, which included members from government, The MITRE Corporation, and systems engineering and technical assistance organizations. Harvey Follender of The Aerospace Corporation led the team.

The team was recognized for replicating the Defense Department's architecture framework while tailoring it for the NRO's unique family of space and terrestrial systems.
