Lorraine Curry New Director for Army, Navy Space Systems

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (8/11/99) -- Lorraine Curry has been promoted to principal director of the Army/ Navy Space Systems Directorate. She had been director of the Army/Navy Space Systems office since 1995.

The directorate has staff located at the company's headquarters in El Segundo, California, and northern Virginia. They support Army and Navy offices involved in space activities.

Curry joined The Aerospace Corporation in 1979. She has extensive space systems experience. She worked as a member of the technical staff in the Electronics and Optics Division, as a project engineer for the Defense Satellite Communications System program, and as manager for Air Force satellite communication systems in the MILSATCOM Division, among other assignments.
