Crosslink Wins Third Maggie Award
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (4/22/05) -- Crosslink magazine was presented with the Western Publication Association’s Maggie Award for the third straight year in the category of best semiannual or three-time trade magazine published west of the Mississippi. The prize this year was awarded to Crosslink’s summer 2004 issue, “Remote Sensing,” which presented an overview of Aerospace’s numerous contributions to spaceborne remote sensing of Earth and its environment.
Overall competition was stiffer this year with the number of magazine entries rising from 1,700 last year to just more than 2,000 this year. The 54th annual Maggie ceremonies were held on April 22 at the Los Angeles Airport Radisson Hotel. Dr. Donna Born, Crosslink editor in chief, accepted the award on behalf of the Aerospace Press of The Aerospace Institute.
