Linda Brill New Director of Corporate Communications

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (12/8/99) -- Linda F. Brill has joined The Aerospace Corporation as principal director of the Corporate Communications Directorate. She replaces David Cole who retired Aug. 31 after 11 years with the company.

Brill comes to Aerospace from the public relations firm of Carl Byoir & Associates, Los Angeles, a division of Hill & Knowlton. She was vice president responsible for media relations, strategic planning and project implementation.

In her new position at The Aerospace Corporation, she is responsible for all internal and external information and communications programs and the development and administration of public affairs policy.

Before joining Byoir & Associates, Brill was with DIRECTV, Inc., El Segundo, Calif., a unit of Hughes Electronics Corporation. She was director of communications when she left to join Byoir in 1996.

From 1990 to 1992 Brill was public relations manager for the Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association, Alexandria, Va., where she was responsible for all external and internal public relations for the satellite broadcasting industry.
