These previously published or presented materials are unbiased analyses on systems engineering that will provide insight into how The Aerospace Corporation has resolved some basic systems engineering challenges. This brochure outlines the Aerospace Systems Architecting Method, which provides a versatile foundational reference for architecting activities. The method can be applied to evaluating combinations of space, airborne, shipboard and ground systems; exploring new space system architectures; identifying alternatives; defining the merits of selected architectures; and using the architecture description as an engineering and acquisition reference throughout system life.
