Mission success is the top priority.
The Eighth National Space System Risk Management Symposium will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, new ideas, and perspectives on risk management practices across the entire space enterprise — perhaps the only chance this year for the civil, commercial, and national security space communities to “share and compare” their approaches, successes, challenges, and barriers in making risk management more effective. Leaders and practitioners from defense, government, industry, and academia are invited to share knowledge and information about best practices, lessons learned, new acquisition policies, industry initiatives, and new and alternative methods and tools to mitigate the risks inherent in space system development and operation. The symposium will include nationally recognized keynotes, technical presentations, technical panels, workshops, and poster and networking sessions. A comprehensive set of tutorials will be offered on April 6.
