The National Space INFOSEC (Information Systems Security) Steering Council (NSISC) Annual Space INFOSEC Symposium is an educational forum intended to facilitate the dissemination of information and to establish personal networking connections across the space INFOSEC community.

Its purpose is to help facilitate a better understanding and increased information sharing among all parts of the community. The symposium is intended for representatives from government agencies, military organizations, program offices, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC), and industry partners interested in learning about recent space cyber activities, information systems security (INFOSEC) and information assurance (IA) developments, policy activities, and organizational and process changes affecting the space INFOSEC community. Information about current and planned space systems, cryptographic product developments, acquisition, and deployment schedules will also be discussed either formally in presentations or in groups during networking sessions. Historically a highlight of the symposium has been the Space INFOSEC Vendor Exposition that runs simultaneously with the symposium.
