23rd Aerospace Testing Seminar
More than 300 participants attended the 23rd Aerospace Testing Seminar held October 10-12, 2006. In keeping with ATS tradition, nine tutorial classes addressing principles and practices of aerospace testing preceeded the seminar. Over a period of three days, nearly 65 papers were presented in seven technical sessions, including two Interactive technical Interchange presentations.
The seminar consisted of an excellent mix of both foreign and US presentations on a multitude of topics addressing the seminar theme, “New Dimensions.” New to the seminar was a well received presentation question and answer format in which questions were directed to presenters in a panel forum after a series of grouped presentations rather than following each presentation. Participants welcomed the opportunity to address presenters simultaneously, which fostered interactive group discussions. Due to the growth over the past few seminars, the 23rd ATS introduced two new sessions on ground segment test and system integration and test using flight software.
