International Two-Phase Thermal Control Technology Workshop

The Aerospace Corporation will host the latest in the series of the International Two-Phase Thermal Control Technology Workshops for spacecraft applications October 26-28, 2009. The workshop will be held at the Ayres Hotel Hawthorne/LAX 14400 Hindry Avenue, Hawthorne, CA 90250, USA.

The Workshop will consist of technical presentations in the following areas:

• Programmatic Overview of Two-Phase Research
• Spacecraft Two-Phase Thermal Control Systems and Applications
• Analytical Modeling of Two-Phase Thermal Control Systems
• Fundamental Two-Phase Research
• Hardware Development, Testing and Validation (including On-orbit experience)

Presentations will be 20 minutes long with a brief question and answer session to follow. Participants will receive a copy of all abstracts at the meeting. The final proceedings (on a CD) containing the presentation material will be mailed to the attendees in approximately six weeks after the workshop.

Note that there is no formal technical paper requirement for this meeting. The submission schedule is:

• August 31, 2009: Title and Abstract submitted to Workshop Sponsors
• September 15, 2009: Notification of Acceptance of Presentation
• October 19, 2009: Final Presentation Due to Tung T. Lam
