Reconnaissance Systems

Aerospace offices in Chantilly, Virginia provide a broad range of technical support related to space system architecture, development, and operations, primarily for Aerospace customers on the East Coast, including the National Reconaissance Office, NASA, the Central Intelligence Agency, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the National Weather Service. We support these customers in communications, electronics, ground networks, systems architectures, performance modeling, sensor engineering and exploitation, and software engineering.

System Performance and Exploitation

  • modeling and simulation of ground and space system performance
  • multi- and hyperspectral image exploitation algorithmdevelopment
  • circuit analysis from baseband through microwave (analog, digital, and mixed-signal)
  • development and evaluation of new image compression methods
  • end-to-end sensor system performance
    modeling
  • orbital optimization and geolocation analysis
  • signal analysis
  • system visualization
  • communications systems architecture
    performance
  • signals and sensor engineering
    laboratories
  • identification and synthesis

Computer and Systems Engineering

  • system architecture definition and
    evaluation
  • command-and-control and mission-processing systems
  • full life-cycle software engineering
  • cost estimation
  • systems engineering
  • acquisition planning
  • computer security
  • information management
